Ha! Oh man, I bet that really pissed off the PETA people...
Nah. They didn't actually show any birds falling to their doom, just people running in panic.
As they say at the end of movies, "No animals were harmed in the making of this film." (Note: I've never yet seen a disclaimer that no humans were harmed in making a film. Kind of interesting how we prioritize things, right?)
