      i'm facing one problem, while connecting to SQL server from my mahcine.

   

      1. SQL Server 2000 is installed on windows 2003 Server machine

      2. SQL Client tools are installed on my machine windows 2000 professional.

   

      When i'm trying register SQL server from Enterprise Manager (which is installed as part of the tools)

      raising an error " Time out expired". (see left side bmp). on second attempt  through the properties,

      raising another error see right side bmp.

   

      any help!!

  try modifying your login time out:

  Using enterprise manager: Tools>Options>Advanced Tab>Login timeout (default is 4 seconds)
