The TUF File

  • Great question, Steve.  I have to admit that I had to look this one up.  Now I know what my next task will be... determine the ramifications of that file.  For example, how big can it actually grow to and under what conditions?  I can see this as being a very dangerous file to have on the C: drive of the server and so I'll also look into how to make it live somewhere else.  Much like a swapfille, I can see possibly dedicating a preallocated drive to it.

RBAR is pronounced "ree-bar" and is a "Modenism" for Row-By-Agonizing-Row.
First step towards the paradigm shift of writing Set Based code:
________Stop thinking about what you want to do to a ROW... think, instead, of what you want to do to a COLUMN.

Change is inevitable... Change for the better is not.
