  Has anyone seen this error before:

  The Scheduler 0 appears to be hung. SPID 1, ECID 0, UMS Context 0x297F2538.

  I found it in my SQL Server logs from 5:49PM yesterday until this morning when the server was rebooted because SQL Server was unresponsive.  Thankfully it is a development server.  However, I still want to know the cause.

  Check if http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;319892 applies.  There is info in the UMS Scheduler Health section which might be related.
