  • Thanks for this message , Kathi. It rings true for me, and I like the ideas of choosing more specific goals.

  • I'm not sure if I had any declared goals even on New Year's day except to quit smoking and that NEVER worked.  I usually declare goals when I realize that there's something that I want to do.  That even things out a whole lot and I don't stress myself out at the beginning of the new year when that's the time to relax a bit after all the year end crunches so common in IT and in real life.
