    Never heard of this tool, but still tend to use the Migration Assistant to analyze individual databases more often. I'll have to look at the Experimentation Assistant, but we rarely pick up a whole instance and try to move it around - it's all DB by DB at the moment.

    I think the correct answer should be DMA, from BOL:

    The Data Migration Assistant (DMA) helps you upgrade to a modern data platform by detecting compatibility issues.
