TFS 2010: Multiple Project Collections with one Team Project per Collection - or - One Project Collection with multiple Team Projects?

  I am planning to deploy Team Foundation Server 2010 and have to decide whether to have:

  1) Multiple Project Collections with one Team Project per Collection, or

  2) One Project Collection with multiple Team Projects

  Any advice or information on the matter based on real-world experience or references to Best Practices articles would be much appreciated.

  There are no special teachers of virtue, because virtue is taught by the whole community.
