It had to happen, though I'm surprised it took this long. Jeopardy is online testing applicants to see if they have what it takes to be on the show. It's for those in the US and testing is this Tue-Thur. You can register here, a different slot for each time zone.
I've been a fan of the show for years, though admittedly I rarely watch it. It's a bad time here in the Jones household with kids, sports, etc. usually ranking higher during that time slot. However it has been something I've enjoyed on and off over the years, competing at home with the candidates.
I've always thought I was pretty good, though probably not a someone who would win more than one day. It usually depends on the categories, but I tend to score pretty good. This is my chance to really see if I could get on, as well as yours.
Now if I can just remember that whole "phrase as a question" thing ...

NOTHING is more sacrosanct in our house than watching/playing jeopardy...no matter what anyone's doing, that's one time we're guaranteed to be in front of the tv - the phone is ignored, the dog is muzzled...it's been an unvarying routine for the last five years or so...we've submitted forms for auditioning a zillion times but have never been called...so, with Alex advertising the new online testing we've all been champing at the bit...waiting for THE DAY...
All that said, it never fails to amaze me what you come up with in each editorial Steve...

oh I am so miffed -
It's all about timing could well apply to Jeopardy as well...I did not realize that everyone (at least the east coasters) plays at exactly 8 p.m or not at all...so obviously when I logged on just now I was kicked out - why do they make it so hard ?!?!
