System stored procedures

    Can someone tell me what the Spot_ system procedures are used by?

    They seem to appear in db's which have had profiler run against them, however I am very unsure about THAT. I find them in user db's stored procedures mixed up with the regular dt_'s and sp_'s. Spot_waitlists for instance.

    Spot_traceend for another. Am I just logged in with way too much privvies?

    Are you sure it wasn't Quest software's Spotlight on SQL? Maybe an eval version was installed?
