sysdbupg

  • This post is related to the service pack and CU installs.

When I browsed through the log files, the setup calls the below .sql files.

    sysdbupg_uninstall.sql

    sysdbupg.sql

But when Checked the modified date of these files in the explorer, they indicated date back to 2008. But I know these sql scripts are executed in uninstsall and install of latest CUs and SPs.

Please could anyone shed some light about the actual prupose of these files.

    Thanks in advance

    John

  • That is correct the files go back to 2008.

The date of the files are not going to change when executed

The sysdbupg.sql performs a number of actions and you can search you hard drive and open up the file.
