Suspended System Processes

    On one of my servers, when I do an sp_who2, I see that the LogWriter and Checkpoint processes are suspended. This is not a critical system with not a lot of activity. Why would these processes be suspended?

    This is not a problem. I just checked my own systems, and this is normal.

    Thanks. 🙂 It did not seem to be causing any problems, but I have not come accross it before. Couldn't find any documentation on it either.
