hi
i have a ssis package which has worked fine, until we introduced negative numbers to the spreadsheet it reads and manipulates,
it seems the merge join function now has drastically increased in time to complete
i am using sql 2005 and vs 2005

My recommendation would be that you do joins in SQL Server rather than SSIS, if you can, unless you are dealing with very small data sets.
