Subscriber HOST_NAME problem using Web Synchronization

    Were using the HOST_NAME() function to publish nonoverlapping partitions to our subscribers. The problem I'm now running into is that when they sync over the internet its using the web servers machine name instead of the subscriber.

    Has anyone else ran into this and what have you tried to resolve the problem?

    Is it possible to change the HOST_NAME temporarily to the subscriber during synhronization?

    Sorry for the Newbie question. I found the answer using the online books. I just had to hard code the machine name using the @hostname parameter when runnigng the sp_addmergepullsubscription_agent.
