Studying for 70-432; using SQL 2008R2 instead of 2008?

  • I am pretty new to SQL and besides panicking when the SQL server went down and trying to get it up and running again I do not have much experience with it.

So I started to study for the 70-432 exam. I got the MS book and now I want to create a lab for it. Can I use SQL 2008R2 or is it better to use 2008?

I tried to find the answer myself but I couldn't find it.

    Thanks a lot in advance,

    Laurens

  • You can use R2. There were just about no core database changes between 2008 and 2008 R2.
