I have a report which include grouping on the majority of fields thus there is + on the left hand of the report to expand these. Some of the values duplicate (by design) on the expanded rows. I can hide these in SSRS by the HideDuplicate being applied to the relevant text box. How can I stop these being displayed when a user performs an export to Excel, Is it all possible to do such a thing?

Seems it is a common problem caused by a design issue. Have tried most of the work arounds but alas no joy yet Duplicate rows on exporting to Excel
