I am a fairly new SQL Server user and have generated some reports that I would like to share with my co-workers. I re-installed SQL server 2005 Express to include Report Server/Manager functionality and used default values (it does not install by default). When I open Reporting Services Configuration Manager, I seem to have Green Checks by most of the fields, but I can't seem to access Report Manager, Report Server, nor deploy reports. I think there is some disconnect and and I can't seem to access the Report Server or the Report Manager page. Can anyone tell a beginner how this should be set up, please?
using the following URLs in a browser, I get:
http://localhost/ReportServer --> Reporting Services Error: The report server has encountered a configuration error. See the report server log files for more information. (rsServerConfigurationError)
Access to the path 'c:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.2\Reporting Services\ReportServer\RSReportServer.config' is denied.
http://localhost/Reports$SQLExpress/Pages/Folder.aspx --> Error: The report server is not
responding. Verify that the report server is running and can be accessed from this computer.
This is the information from Reporting Services Configuration Manager
