start job window in SQL server agent

    I have a sql agent job started in management studio, and it will run about 30 minutes, but I accidently disconnect the connection of that server in management studio.

    I guess the job is still running correct?

    I know I can see the status Executing in the job activity monitor, but I cannot see the start job window that shows the job is still running, is there a way that makes the start job window show up again so that I can see clearly the job is running?

    if the job shows as executing in job activty monitor then yes its still running.

    to get the box back again with the green play icons etc, I dont think you can, what you can do is set job acitvity monitor to refresh every so many seconds and keep an eye on it for when the job either fails/succeeeds etc.
