SSRS reverting to earlier date? Please help.

  • This is strange. One of my subscribed reports suddenly showed the wrong formatting (a decimal was supposed to be a percentage). So I checked the report in BIDS. When I previewed the report, the data was from a couple of months ago. I checked reports > [my report] to look at the DATA file and RDL file. The DATA files last modified date was the data shown on the report in BIDS (I checked an archived copy), and the RDL is a previous version that didn't have the formatting change from decimal to percentage.

What's odd is the preview in BIDS shows the correct formatting, but the old data.

Can anyone help get this straightened out? My customers aren't happy!

    Thanks, as always.

  • ...the more I check, the more it does seem like the DATA files are not refreshing properly. That's at least part of the problem.

Can you verify your Processing Options for the report. Is Render this report from a report snapshot enabled? That would be my first guess is that you are looking at a report snapshot and not the actual report. In BIDs I'm wondering if your pointing to the wrong datasource.
