Has anyone used Rimmed Traffic light indicator and changed the color of the outer border ?
I want to display status of two things ... and was thinking of using this indicator but don't see how to change the outer black color of the indicator to something else.
Any ideas?

Do you mean the Rim colour? No, you can't change it. The traffic lights are effectively just an image, the rimmed ones just have a black surround.
You can, however, create your own images. So, if you wanted to, you could design some of your own and use those instead.

I did something like this until one of my coworkers mentioned that she was red/green colorblind. I changed it to three "lights" with the appropriate one "lit".
