You can try to deploy it. Make sure you know where the report will deploy to: In solution explorer right click on the project and select properties. Make note of the TargetReportFolder and TargetServerURL values.

I am a little afraid since I don't want to mess up any of the other reports or this one in particular since its used so often...I was going to maybe try to look into some tutorials or learn more about SSRS before i did that.
Unless of course that sounds silly and I wouldn't be able to harm or change anythign by redeploying them..

Once you know the target folder and target URL, go to the REPORT and right click and choose Deploy and only that report will be deployed.

So i right clicked >> deploy on the report name in VS and got the following error:
TITLE: Microsoft Report Designer
------------------------------
A connection could not be made to the report server http://jt54321/ReportServer$JTHOMAS_SQL2005.
------------------------------
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The remote name could not be resolved: 'jt54321' (Microsoft.ReportingServices.Designer)
------------------------------
So that means I am working on the wrong report? if so, how the heck do I find the correct report? I did a search for the report name and I have tried to change / deploy every report and they all give me the same error above.
Could it be something else?
thanks!

Did you have to create a new project and import the report or are you using an existing project?
If you created a new project and imported an existing report, then the Deploy path would need to be set for the project. The deploy path is configured by right clicking on the project and filling in the Target folder & URL info with the appropriate info.
If you are using an existing project, then I think that project, and all of its objects have not been deployed to a valid server before.

using an existing project...
however, it had to have worked before because its still working now...
It seems to me, then, that I have not located the correct invoice report. Although I have searched everywhere and tried all reports. I will try them again...
thanks!
