Hi ALL,
I ve been trying to resolve this problem for a long time.
We have ssrs 2008 on Windows 2003 machine. Some of the reports are based on SSAS 2008 cubes and some need reporting from oracle views.
The problem is with the reports from Oracle Views, I am able to see the data and execute the report just fine when in Report desiger. When the same report is deployed in report Manager I am geting this error.
An error occurred during client rendering.
An error has occurred during report processing.
Cannot create a connection to data source 'xxx'.
ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified
I would really appreciate if anyone who is aware of the problem can suggest me on what might be the next thing to try and see!

I've had similar errors when the Oracle Client tnsnames.ora on the report server specifies different connection info to that of the tnsnames.ora on my development machine. Do yours match?

have you found a resolution to this? I am having the same issue.

Any fixes on this issue - I am having the same problem with SSRS!!
