Is it possible to simply move the 2 reporting services databases & reconfigure SSRS to another DB server running 2012 + if the SSRS installation itself is 2008?
Just answered my own Q, yes this is very possible. Gotta jump thru a few hoops but i was able to migrate my 2008 R2 db to a 2014 instance, upgrade it, restore my encryption keys, work around 1 really annoying SSRS bug and get it running.
