Hello Gurus,
I am trying to create Maintenance Plan on one our SQL Server, It does not have client installed on it, so I remote connected to it, when I right click on Maintenance Plan and say create New Maintenance plan it raised an error stating there is no Management Studio installed on remote SQL Server.
Now I logged on to the remote SQL Server machine and trying to install Management Studio on it,
when I started the setup it is pointing me to C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server. There is a client installed at this location, but my SQL Server is installed on C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server
The problem is it is not allowing me to change the installation location to C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server
How do I change the installation path, please help me on this.
Thanks
Siebel

Sounds like your on x64, if this is the case you might try the x64 install package 🙂
