I used 18.4 , from the menu, click restore database, it lists the full backup two weeks ago, but we actually have this weeks backup, for some reason, it cannot pull the most recent. On another computer with SSMS 17.x, it pulls correctly.
Is it a bug somehow?
thanks,

Haven't heard this, but it's possible. I doubt it, but can you do two things.

Good suggestions. I will try that.
The restore wizard pulls the backup that I did manually earlier, it is in the msdn database.

I just tried the restore steps on another server with 17.4 installed, it restored the correct version.
And then I tried on another server that has SSMS 18.4 installed, it restored the wrong version.
So I am still suspect this is a bug in 18.x.

Note the wrong version it pulled is a full backup I did manually , not the sql agent job triggered jobs.

Could it be a copy only backup?

No it is not a copy only backup.
What is the strange thing is I query the backup history, the older one is no longer in msdb database, for we purge backup every 3 weeks, so the 4/8 backup record no longer in backup history table. But it still shows in the restore wizard list.
The backup file is still there, I stored in another directory.
