Hi,
I have 200 to 240 SSIS packages for SQL 2005. Now we are in the process of upgrading from SQL 2005 to SQL 2008. We are using konesans (Checksum and Trash destination) in most of the packages. If we upgrade from SQL05 to SQL08 the konesans will automatically replace with konesans 2008 or we need to manually change the konesans 2005 to konesans 2008 in all the packages.
Thanks in Advance

I don't know this as fact but I think you'll probably have to do it manually. Also, some of the 2005 components seem to be compatible. But I would expect only the control-flow components to be compatible. The data-flow components have some objects that I don't see being compatible.

When you add existing package to SQL 2008 solution, it will automatically upgrade the components. Just make sure you have installed on the same machine:
- both SQL 2005 and 2008.
- both SQL 2005 and 2008 versions of the Konesans components.

Do you have SQL 2005 and the version of the components for SQL 2005 installed , too? This will be required for the upgrade to work properly.
