Hi all,
I have created a package with table configurations in it and worked in our test environment successfully.when we changed the environment to production the job is failing.
Here is what i am trying to do:
1.create a table configurations and save the name and password.
2.when Releasing it to production change the datasource in the SQL Agent job datasources to use the production instance .
i did not change anything in the package, i am expecting the sql server to point to production server when we change the datasources.the package still points to test environment .is this the intend behavior?
please let me know its very urgent.

How did you create the package configurations?
How did you change the environment?
What do you mean with: I saved the name and the password?
What are the errors that you get?
And no, it is not the intended behaviour that it still points to the test environment. 🙂
