SSIS in VS.Net 2005 IDE

  • If I don't have SQL Server 2005 installed on the machine. then

Can I open and modify the SSIS packages in Visual studio 2005 team suite edition.

Or Do I need to install anything on top of it to make SSIS package work on Visual Studio 2005 Team suite

You have to install both "Integration Services" and client components.

If you are running VS2005 Team Suites instead of VS2005 Team Developer edition you could download the Addon in the link below to get VS2005 Team DBpro edition. That give you BI development tools in the DBpro edition.
