SSIS Event Handler Duplicates Event

    In Event Handler, on the package level, I have an Send Email Task to send the DBA team a notification of failure when the package fails. But an odd thing is happening. The email sends twice.

    I have searched every level of the package and this is the only email sending out. Does anyone know why this might be happening?

    How would Delay Validation being set to False force the email to send twice?
