We are migrating to a new server infrastructure running SQL Server 2014. There is an existing ETL framework in place. There were a lot of packages and jobs to migrate and a limited amount of time to do it in. We opted to stay with the legacy package deployment model for now.
We are nearing go-live on the new systems. I thought it would be nice to enable catalog logging, but it appears that it is necessary to migrate to the project deployment model in order to get catalog logging. Is that correct?
