Hi,
I'm wondering if someone can help us out here as we are at a loss.
We have at present a process which works like this;
1. Server A (SQL 2016) kicks off an SSIS package which is locally stored as a .dstx file
2. That package connects to Server B (SQL 2017) which has SSAS, SSIS and DB Engine on it, the package from Server A triggers a rebuild of the current partitions in a cube stored on Server B
3. The cube on Server B has a database of a DB on server A, so it pulls all the data in and processes it.
This all works fine.
However when we upgrade server B from SQL 2017 to SQL 2019 the cube processing fails after about 10 minutes, the error being
OLE DB error: OLE DB or ODBC error: Query timeout expired; HYT00.
We can see the query running on server A as it collects the data, no blocking or anything, if we then rollback to SQL2017 on server A it all starts working.
We've checked the defaults on the SSAS and they all look good and if we kick off the processing of the cube manually on server B it works fine.
Has anyone come across this issue before?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Nic
