Hi,
Let me explain my issue.
I restored my SSAS 2005 cube (which is connected to a database Oracle 10g) on a windows 2003 64bit server. At the beginning I had some connection's problems to the data source in BIDS but I resolved it doing this :
- Installation of 32bit and 64bit drivers of Oracle 10g.
- Create of a batch file to launch BIDS and Management Studio.
Now when I'm testing my connection in BIDS, I can connect. In my data source view, I can also explore the data... But when I try to process my cube or my project, I have the following error :
"Errors in the high-level relational engine. A connection could not be made to the data source with the DataSourceID of 'DWH', Name of 'DWH'."
Is there anyone here who could have an idea to resolve my problem ? I summarize, I have a SSAS 2005 cube connected to an Oracle 10g database, on a Windows 2003 R2 64bit SP2 server.
Thanks a lot for your answers.
Regards

I changed my provider and it seems to work. I used Microsoft OLEDB Provider for Oracle and now I'm using Oracle Provider for OLEDB and I can process my cube.

It is always better to use the Oracle OLE DB driver than Microsoft's but there are other issues if you are using Win2008 because it comes with new data access not MDAC.
Kind regards,
