  • Hi to all.

(I ran this query 'SELECT @òVERSION ...to know that version adn service pack i have...)

A user of mine , Using Excel with an OLAP CUBE , encounters this error.

Internal error: An unexpected error occurred (file 'pfstore.cpp', line 794, function 'PFStore::CopyRecords'

I have this environment on our SQL SERVER server...

    Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio10.50.4000.0

    Microsoft Analysis Services Client Tools10.50.4000.0

    Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC)6.1.7601.17514

    Microsoft MSXML3.0 6.0

    Microsoft Internet Explorer9.11.9600.17207

    Microsoft .NET Framework2.0.50727.5477

Do you have any suggestions ???

    Regards in advance..

I notice that the problem is about an attribute of a dimension ...

    Moving or deleting this attribute...

    Thanks again.

  • This error has to do with enabling/disabling attributes when there are linked items. Have a read of the following: http://martinmason.wordpress.com/2010/08/

  • Thanks for your answer...

Incredible i discover the same article too.

    I am trying to understand...

So if i put attribute cause problem with PROPERTIES Attribute Hierarchy Enable = FALSE ...could be good ???

    Now it is TRUE.

The prblem seems be in a fact dimension and with its attributes...

No linked measure at all ..it is a normal single cube..

    Thanks for your suggestion.:-)

I would try disabling the offending attribute hierarchy, yes, as this may resolve it for you.

  • Okay.

    I will do that.

I will write back what happens.

    Regards.

  • I did test to change from FALSE to TRUE , my dimension attributes property ATTRIBUTE HIERARCHY ENABLED ..

I let all other dimension attributes properties the same...

    I receive a strange behaviour...

Now i cannot t see , anymore dimension attributes...even if i have ATTRIBUTE HIERARCHY VISIBLE = TRUE..

I need to see all attributes.
