Hay guys I have a problem connecting SQL server Enterprise to C#2010 express,even th e single mdf file is not being connected,a message appears something like "no SQL server found and no connection is there"..I want to make a Winform to get/add data to database...plz help me

You would not be connecting to the mdf file, you would be connecting to the database engine. Are you on the same network as your SQL Server?

yea i'm on same network, today i installed sQL express ,now it os being connected.but C# express does'nt detect my SQL enterprise server, although it's running.

To connect to a running server, you have to specify the proper connection properties. Can you attach a screen shot of your properties for the SQL Server Enterprise machine?

When you are creating the Data Source, are you selecting Create New SQL Server Database or are you selecting Add Connection? Tell me then which configurations you select.
