sqlservr.exe -sSQLEXPRESS random crashing

    Hi,

    We're Running SQL Express 2005 on one of our servers.

    I am very new to SQL and it keeps crashing.

    One of our web based programs uses the service, which i notice just crashes once or twice a day. If i knew where the log files were and how to view them..... it would be very helpful and VERY appreciated.

    Any critical errors from sql server will be in the windows event log (use eventvwr) to look at it.

    The SWL server log can be viewed in management studio if you have it or it is just a text file in a directory called Logs beneath the directory where sql server was installed.
