Hello All,
I have a question for those running SQLLiteSpeed. Currently, I am unable to do any backups on my machine with the transfer size greater than 65,536. Info about the machine:
UnisysES7000 partion: 32GB RAM, 16-way 3Ghz (true 16-way); SAN-DMX2000; WIN2K DataCenter; Clustered instance of SQL Server on this node (2-node cluster/two instance SQL Server cluster/one instance on each node); NODE2 has same configuration as above.
So, at first, I was getting a VDI error message. After a start/stop of the problem instance I was getting a bizarre error message. After speaking and sending logs to Quest, I was able to get backups to run but only if the transfer rate is at 65,536. SQL Server is configured to use 27GB of memory. There is over 4GB available to the O/S. The interesting thing here is that the other node/instance has the default setting and everything runs fine on that node. Also, all of our other machines use the defaults without issue.
Has anyone else run into this problem? If so, what did you do to resolve the issue?
Many thanks
-C
