Reading the Microsoft documentation it says SQL2019 STANDARD EDITION has a max memory of 128Gb which you can install.
When i run Glen Berry's SQL2019 diagnostics scripts i get a breakdown like this:
MEMORYCLERK_SQLBUFFERPOOL = 132998.67MB
CACHESTORE_SQLCP = 12067.40 MB
I wont list the rest of the memory breakdown as this already exceeds the 128Gb Microsoft say SQL2019 can use - the actual server has 667Gb of memory installed.
How can the buffer pool have that much memory allocated when Microsoft the max memory will be capped at 128Gb ?
