Hey all,
Got a problem with my replication.
We have a SQL Server 2005 Entreprise database that acts as a transactional publisher.
We also have several SQL Server 2005 Express LINKED servers that act as subscribers
The replication workes fine when the data is pushed from the publisher to the subscribers. Indead, the data is updated in a timely fashion.
The problem occurs when we want to update from the Express Linked servers to the Entreprise publisher. We have this error "could not change the publisher because the subscription has been dropped"
The update type is transactional queued update.
We have deleted, dropped, restarted and recreated everything, but we still have the same problem.
Can anyone of you guys help? Please le me know which info you need and I'll be more than glad to update this post... I'm kind of a newbie 🙂
Thanks
Steve L.

Did you set up the replication using RMO or Windows Synchronizing manager? Please keep in mind that SQL Server Express does not have a SQL Server Agent. There for the agent runs in the distributor if I am not mistaken.
