SQL2000 DTS connection to SQL2005...

    I'm trying to transfer a few tables from a SQL2000 instance to a SQL2005 instance. I thought it was possible to create a SQL2000 DTS OLE and/or ODBC connection to a SQL2005 instance. Can someone confirm this, as I am getting connection error when I try. Could it be a network protocol requirement???

    Use the import/export option with 2005 in SSIS, they use SQL native client than using ODBC\OLEDB providers. Also post the exact error message so that we can confirm if that is a network error.
