SQL Spell checker??

  • Hi Gang,

Was wondering if there is a spell checker function in SQL? We used an Alteryx Spell Check tool for some of our compliance workstreams but it was discontinued in the current version and am looking to see what we can use to replace it, as it was extremely handy and saved allot of time.

We have tired exporting data and loading it into MS Excel but there has to be a better way.

Any help or advice would be warmly recieved.

    Kr,

    Neil

  • It sounds like you are trying to spell check existing data.  Do you also want to validate incoming data? If so, how does it come in? SSIS or other ETL tools? Stored Procedures? Ad-hoc SQL?

  • There is no such thing of any kind built into SQL Server.
