  1)The sql server(MSSQLSERVER)service on local computer started and then stopped.

  some services stop automatically if they have no work to do,for example,the performance logs and alerts service

  2)The request failed or the service didnot respond in a timely fashion. Consultthe event log or other applicable error

  dnot working sqlserver database-engine how to solve this problem?

  Was there anything in the event log?

  I long for a job where my databases dont have any pesky users accessing them 🙂
