Hello --
The Wizard leads me through finding and adding the 2003 mdb files, and then shows the following error in the step "Connect to SQL Server 2005":
"This version of the SQL Server is not supported. You must connect to
an instance of SQL Server 2005."
This is displayed on top of a window showing "SQL Server 2005"!
Relevant information about my SQL Server 2005 version after installing
SP3 is:
Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 9.00.4028.00
Microsoft Analysis Services Client Tools 2005.090.4028.00
Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 2000.085.1117.00 (xpsp_sp2_rtm.
040803-2158)
Microsoft MSXML 2.6 3.0 4.0 5.0 6.0
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0.2900.2180
Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0.50727.832
Operating System 5.1.2600
Can anyone tell me what the problem might be?
Thanks in advance for any help.

In Management Studio, please run "select @@version". That's where you get the version data on SQL Server.
There may be a problem with connecting Access to a later version of SQL Server. So, if it's Access 2003, it may have problems with SQL 2005. I don't remember if that's an issue, but it would make some sense if it is.
