  hi all

  Config: Win 2003 Server SP1, SQL Server 2000 with SP4, 4 GB Ram

  SQL Server memory keep increasing in production server. after a level the performance of SQL Server going down. all the application slows down.

  We need to restart SQL Server Services to make it normal.

  We have to restart SQL Server Services every day....

  its really a problem..... Please give ur valuable sugestion....

  In the Properties of SQL instance, you can set the maximum memory under the memory tab.

  Improper Indexes / No Indexes

  Locks

  Blocking

  Select queries with larger resultset
