  Hi All !!!

  I try to disable publishing and distribution on 'MyServerName'   (SQL server

  2000), however i got the following error : SQL Server Enterprise Manager

  could not disable publishing on 'MyServerName'

  Also the distribution database doesn't exists on this server,  my coleuge

  dropped it ( it was a mistake).

  So now i can create publisher on this server  and also can't disable

  distribution on this server.

  Any suggestions??????

  Can you try to reenable publishing?

  Otherwise you have to do considerable hacking to get this to work correctly.
