  Hi Gurus,

  I am trying to configure SQL 2005 standalone instance to use GSS address and not getting any clue on how to do this.

  GSS : Cisco Global Site Selector

  GSS will allow you to chenge change over to DR host without any changes / confiration for end user.

  I will me more than happy to provide more info if required.

  What is a GSS address?

  SQL Server just responds to requests. I'd think you'd configure GSS to request traffic to SQL Server, not the other way around.
