  Hi,

  I had a very strange situation where SQL server aborted when tempdb log space was full. Any anyone shed some light on this and let me know what caused this. any help will be greatly appreciated.

  I think it is documented behaviour that SQL Server will stop when there is no more log space available. See if this helps:
