  Goog Morning guys,

  I am in the middle of upgrading sql server 2016 from the developer version to the standard version.

  Sql server is configured with only one instance and one database, no replication, no fileover or mirroring.

  I've two questions:

  1)while upgrading is my database still online and reachable from the various applications?

  2) Will it be necessary to restart the server after the operation is completed?
