  Hi I'm a little confused about which Development tools I need to be able to develop SQL Server 2012 SSIS and SSRS projects within VS2013

  I have found downloads for BI development in SQL 2012 with VS 2012, and SQL 2014 with VS2013 .

  ...but I can't seem to find the tools that will allow me to do SQL 2012 BI development within VS2013 - can anyone point me in the right direction

  The one you need is SQL 2012 with VS 2012. The other version is for SQL Server 2014.

  No. But you can have both installed at the same time.
