  Hi,

  I have SQL Server 2012 Enterprise / Standard Edition - Per core and Windows Server 2012 is in VM environment running on VMware ESX and not Hyper V

  Can I install SQL Server 2012 Ent/Std on Windows Server 2012 Standard Edition (VM machines running on VMware ESX).

  VMware support Windows 2012 as a guest OS system, so yes you can
