1. I want to complete MCSA for 2012. Is this the right certification to be called a DW developer using SQL server 2012?
2. Are the guides provided by Microsoft sufficient to prepare? I dont have access to SQL Server 2012 either at work or at home. Any suggestions on how to practice in live please?

Firstly you may want to alter you email address on a public forum or at least be prepared for some spam mail! :w00t: You can see/receive private messages as well.#
Basically you will have to play with SQL 2012 as much as you can, and then play some more. You don't say how much experience you have with SQL Server. If you are going to take/pass the exam you will struggle without work/home access.
You will have to put the work in to get the benefits you want.
Good luck.

I recommend either buying a Developer Edition license (about $50) or get an Azure VM with SQL 2012 on it so you can practice. Without SQL Server, and Experience on SQL Server, then the cert is worthless.

The MCSA is generic for SQL Server. It covers a few things that you might do, but it doesn't mean you're a DW developer

If you need to practice, there are some Technet online labs: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/virtuallabs/bb467605.aspx
