Hi,
I wanted to compress my XML data in the database. As I receive loads if data and create report out of it and these reports are in XML format which Iave to save in DB?
Please suggest best practices for storage and compress the XML data.

That is for SQL Server 2005, also I need the best practice to optimize the disk storage
My DB grows 30 - 50 GB in a day and yes we do have archival process, concern is how do we compress and optimize the data in disk? These data are in XML format.
